Adelaide Clemens

Brisbane in Australia is where I was born and brought up. She is the daughter of a British father. Clemens was working as an actress on Australian TV while she was at high school. Clemens was a guest on an episode of Blue Water High, as Juliet, in the year 2006. In 2007, she appeared as Alison on Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji. Clemens played Harper on her role on the Showtime series Love My Way that year and received nominations for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding New Talent in the 2007 Logie Awards for the role. Clemens played alongside Sigrid Xavier and Xavier Sigrid Cropper Andrew McFarlane and Linda Cropper in Dream Life 2008. The show starred MTV Networks Australia. Clemens became a face for Jan Logan's jewelry that same year. Clemens relocated to Los Angeles California after 2009. Clemens starred as Xandrie in the movie Wasted on the Young. In 2012 Clemens played Camilla Dickinson, alongside Gregg Sulkin, Cary Elwes and Samantha Mathis. The show was an adaptation of the 1951 novel of the same title by young adult fiction author Madeleine L'Engle.She portrayed teenager Heather Mason in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. This horror film was based on Silent Hill 3, a Survival horror game. The film was also the sequel to Silent Hill. Clemens played the role of Valentine Wannop, a suffragette in Parade's End. Clemens performed the role of lead in the film No One Lives, a 2012 horror movie starring Luke Evans. Also, she was in 2013's film The Great Gatsby based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same name. Clemens played Catherine who was the younger sister of Myrtle Wilson played by Isla Fisher. Clemens plays Tawney in Rectify, a 2013 Sundance Channel miniseries developed with Ray McKinnon. The actress will be joined by Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham and Zachary Quinto in the independent drama The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
